About the Event

The Russian State Agricultural University — Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy (RSAU-MTAA), founded in 1865, is Russia's oldest and leading agricultural university. In the fall of 2025, the 3IT team was invited to deliver two presentations to students and faculty of the Agronomy and Biotechnology department.

Presentation 1: Digital Technologies in Agriculture

The first presentation was aimed at senior students and focused on digital transformation of the agricultural sector.

Key topics:

Why digitization matters — current industry challenges and how technology helps solve them
Monitoring systems — real-time tracking of crop conditions, equipment, and personnel
IoT in agriculture — sensors and automated data collection from fields
Analytics and forecasting — how data helps make decisions and increase yields

Students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about practical applications of technology and career opportunities in AgTech.

Presentation 2: Sady Stavropolya Case Study

The second presentation focused on a real implementation case with Sady Stavropolya — one of the largest fruit producers in the region.

About Our Partner

Sady Stavropolya is a modern agricultural enterprise specializing in growing apples and other fruit crops using intensive orchard technologies.

Solutions Implemented:

AI orchard monitoring system — analyzing tree health and predicting yield
Accounting automation — digitizing all processes from planting to harvesting
Data integration — a unified platform for managing all aspects of production
Mobile application — analytics and management access for executives and agronomists

Implementation Results:

We shared specific metrics and results achieved through process digitization.

Conclusions

The visit to Timiryazev Academy was an important step in developing ties between business and education. We received an invitation for further collaboration and participation in the university's educational programs.
